When you store your property with Summit Self Storage you can rest assured that we will treat your items with the utmost care.
No matter what you store with us, our units are designed to protect your items. From your childhood treasures, seasonal decorations, business records, all of it is secure at Summit Self Storage.
However, even the most secure and well-built structures can be damaged by a catastrophe. As an added option to protect your valuables, we have partnered with the SBOATI Program.
We understand that the items you store in your storage unit are important to you. However, our storage facility is not responsible for your property in the event of property loss. For this reason, our rental agreement requires that each tenant maintain insurance coverage on their stored property.
During the online rental or kiosk rental process, tenants are required to select one of our insurance offerings to ensure coverage at the start of the rental agreement.
Maintaining our insurance offering is highly recommended given its many benefits, but it is not required. If you'd like to use your own insurance in place of one of our offerings, please provide a copy of the declaration page of your policy to our storage rental office within 3 days of your rental and your SBOA insurance selection can be removed from your account at your request.
Please note, tenant insurance is ONLY available for storage units, not parking spaces.
